How PriceComparison.co.uk Started
It all started when two programmers who are not happy at their current job decided to make good use of a domain name that they have owned for many years. Certainly there are many price search engines on the internet, but most are driven by businessmen whose major goal is to earn as much money as possible.

We are programmers or geeks who are passionate about our work. Our goal is to deliver the easiest, most accurate, and fair price comparison site for both consumers and merchants.

While other sites list merchants who pays them the most on top of other merchants, we do not. While other sites do not care of the level of service given to consumers by their merchants, we do.

We started development in early 2004. Being limited by 2 staffs, we labored day and night to create this website. In August 2004, we began offering free trials for a selected number of merchants. Official launch date for PriceComparison.com was set on January 2005.

Due to overwhelming consumer demand, PriceComparison.com has recently established a presence in the United Kingdom, PriceComparison.co.uk. This newly formed sister company also aims to deliver the same high quality web content, reviews and accurate price comparison data. Offical launch date for PriceComparison.co.uk is January 2006.
